Developmental Problems Community

Living and Working With Children With Developmental Problems

Our Professions

This is an online community of professionals and parents talking about our profession & our work, our children & our hope for them, and our Mission & our philosophies.

Where is our direction?
What are our parenting & developmental goals?
What do we expect for the children?
Why are there no "cures?"

For the purposes of this site, Developmental Problems refers to a whole range of diagnoses where a child's developmental progress is stopped or sluggish. this can refer to children with ADD/ADHD, dyslexia, LD, APD, ASD, Failure To Thrive, or any number of problems in the developmental process.

Our Community

Who We Are: This is a community of parents and professionals living or working with children who have developmental problems. We are here to share thoughts and feelings and collect information about working with them, our expectations, and our missions.

What We Do Here: We use personal blogs, forum discussions, and our comments as platforms for telling our story or asking for information. Please post blogs, start discussions, and reply to the postings of others. Our children benefit and we benefit from these conversations.

Marketing and Sales Activities: You may use your own profile page to market your products and services, but no where else are marketing and sales activities permitted in this site. You are welcome to talk about the nature of techniques you use as part of blogs or forum discussions and you can refer to your profile page if others want information. Please do not use messages and comments for unsolicited sales communications. You are urged to put a link to your own website in your Comment signature.

New Members: Here Is How To Get Started

Take a few minutes to "beef up" your profile page. Let us know more about you, what you do, your experience with children who have developmental problems, and what you want from joining here.

Get involved. Read blogs and forum discussions. Make comments about what others have said. We want to hear what you have to say.

Thanks for joining our network.
